The Forensicare Annual Report 2020-21 was recently tabled in Victorian Parliament. The annual report provides an overview of the financial, operational and strategic outcomes at Forensicare during the 2020-21 financial year. On World Occupational Therapy Day, Forensicare’s occupational therapy team are supporting the facilitation of a free online forensic occupational therapy forum. With the theme of “Transitions”, the forum will explore the role occupational therapists play in supporting consumers to transition to less restrictive environments.

Dr. Nina Papalia has been awarded a Discovery Early Career Research Award (DECRA) fellowship to examine the impact of experiences of abuse, neglect, and exposure to domestic violence in childhood on future criminal justice system involvement.
