Forensicare announces two new board directors
We’re excited to announce our two new board directors, Ian Forsyth and Wade Noonan, who joined Forensicare late last year.
Appointed on 17 September 2019, Ian brings a wealth of experience to the organisation. Originally a journalist with the ABC, Ian has extensive experience across the arts, health, finance and public sectors. Over the years, he’s held a range of senior executive positions across public and private sectors, including working as the Deputy Chief Executive of WorkSafe Victoria, and as the Managing Director of Norwich Union Life Australia.
Ian is also a Board Director for the Australian Centre for the Moving Image, as well as Ambulance Victoria. Ian will also continue his role as Managing Partner with behaviour change communications specialists, the Shannon Company. His passion for workplace safety, organisational culture and performance will be a great asset to the organisation.
Appointed on 10 December 2019, Wade Noonan is the Executive Director of the West of Melbourne Economic Alliance (WOMEDA) and Associate Director of Social Enterprise and Investment in the Policy, Strategy and Impact portfolio at RMIT. Wade is also the principal of his own advisory service, specialising in strategic public affairs, public policy, government relations and stakeholder engagement.
In the past, Wade has held leadership roles in the Victorian Government, serving as the Minister for Police and Corrections from 2014-2016, and the Minister for Industry, Employment and Resources from 2016-2017. He’s also been the Non-Executive Director for TDT (now the Logistics Training Council), the Alternative Director for TWUSuper, Chair of the YMCA Bridge Project and an Ambassador of the Indigenous Marathon Foundation.
Wade’s substantial political, commercial and strategic experience will bring a wealth of insight and value-add for Forensicare’s Board and Executive.
Both Ian and Wade have been appointed for three year tenures.
