Forensicare is the state-wide provider of forensic mental health services across Victoria. As the only agency in the state that delivers specialist and tailored clinical forensic mental health services that span all areas of the mental health and criminal justice sectors, Forensicare has a unique perspective on mental health and public safety issues. In addition, Forensicare operates a comprehensive research program through Swinburne University of Technology.

Reporting to, and working as a trusted adviser to and in close collaboration with, the Board, the Chief Executive Officer will provide strategic and operational leadership to cement Forensicare’s position as a comprehensive, integrated and best-practice forensic mental health service. This includes focusing on achieving clear outcomes to deliver on the organisation’s strategy, and fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism and high performance. Utilising well-honed stakeholder management skills and extensive networks, the appointee will cultivate strategic relationships to optimise Forensicare’s contribution to the broader health and justice system.

An accomplished and authentic senior executive, you possess highly developed strategic and operational leadership skills, complemented by compelling stakeholder engagement and sophisticated communication capabilities. Underpinning your delivery and results orientation are your proven commercial, governance and risk management abilities. A dextrous problem solver and forward thinker with an outward focus, your experience has been gained in the health, human services, justice or not-for-profit sectors.
